today was pretty good. the classes were all the same as always. we attempted to do something in bio today, but didnt really. after school i went up to the librarry to find out about the fall state conference thingy. then i went to latin club. cant wait for the toga party. im doing music and food. i have to start thinking about what food to bring. HMMMM i missed diversity club. after i got home, i went to the barn to tend to my sickly horse. scrubbed his foot with iodine, washed it off, and put on his medication with rubber gloves. FUN! then, for even more fun, i went to my violin lesson. now im back here, so bored that im updating this.

tomorrows vetrens day so we dont have school. which is good because we dont have school, but bad because i wont have any of the clubs after school :-( i think im going to go to the mall with molly. i have an h&m gift card that needs to be spent asap...

today was ok. woke up, went to the barn. no lesson today because amy was feeling sick. so i just rode chex by myself and WOW. he was being SO BAD. he bucked about 285710560956719465 times and almost got me off a couple of them. he would constantlybe jigging instead of walking and when i tryed to trot he'd take of into a canter and like run me into a wall. he did that a couple times before i got off and hand trotted him around because i feared for my life. later in the day the vet came and watched him go. he took a couple bad steps in one direction on the gravel, but in the indoor he was sound. but the vet said to just do w/t work for the next week. checkers is going to go out of his mind. oh well.

then i went on a shopping trip with my mater for some pants, i got 2 pairs and a cool bracelet.

Yesterday was so awesome..went to the Marshfield fair for the second time in two days. Yesterday i went with deirdre, her friend ashley, nicole, sarah and lauren. Today i went with nicole, spazz, amy, the emilys, and we met up with regina and rose and molly. It was so fun, i went on the zipper twice, but refused to go on the skymaster. We also went on the orange and purple spinning ride, with amy's friend herman, the anal carnie. We all went on the swings too, and luckily everyones vagina strap was in place correctly ;-)

But earlier that day, sucked because kara and terry went away to a show, and i usually ask them to watch Checkers trot to see if hes still lame. And amy was at lunch, so i just asked jojo to watch him go, which she did and said that he was still lame and needed to see a vet. Which got me very nervous. the vet came, watched him trot, took off his shoe and took exrays of his foot :-( Today he has to get new shoes and HOPEFULLY *crosses fingers* it will make him all better again. This farrier should be better than the last one, who fucked up his feat in the first place. *sigh* pretty soon the summer will be over and the winters suck major ass so im not looking forward to going and riding him everyday. arghhhhhhhh. But hes awesome, so now im jsut looking forward to Deerfield :-D

Today i went shoppping with nicole..good time. i wore my pretty pink high heeled shoes that i got while i was in NY and i was like limping my the end of the trip. my feet felt like they were going to fall off. BUT i did get some cool stuff: Franz Ferdinand cd (its AWESOME), 2 tank tops from Old Navy(good thing i went bargin shopping and didnt let those American Eagle bastards rip me off ;-) ) I also got ome eyeshadow, which i've never wore before so i dont know how it'll look. When we had lunch, i ordered a salad, like a nice, healthy person. and then a fucking SPIDER crawls out of my salad!! nicole noticed it. omg EW So i ended up getting chicken fingers after all ahahaha and both me and nicoles meals came with ice cream but nicole didnt eat hers so i ate both of ours. i love myself, even if i am a fat kid :-D

After the mall i went to the barn and just walked around on checkers and trotted him for kara. hes still a little off, but getting a lot better. then i walked around for liek 20 minutes, it was really like relaxing. i liked it until someone came down and started graining the indoor at which point he started bucking. so i went in and he bucked some more on the way back to the barn. pretty comfortable buck actually, nothing bad at all, which makes me feel better.

today was pretty good, went to the barn and rode in my saddle and bridle for the first time :-) Me and jodi walked through the trails and she said she saw chex in the morgan connection so she brought it in. It was him all westerny with some old guy on him last year at the Massachusetts Morgan Horse show. He had a champion ribbon on and looked really cute.

Yesterday we had a lesson. At first we put draw reins on chex and amy rode him for a little bit. Then i got o, and let me tell you, draw reins are like the funniest thing ever. But then Jack needed the draw reins so him and checkers switched bridles. The lesson was pretty uneventful..not too much to say.

Now im heading off to Canobie Lake Park(is that how you spell it?) with molly, mimi, and joanna. It should be fun. But i thought mims was coming to pick me up at 10, so of course i wake up at 9:50 and like go crazy rushing. Its now 11:08. Apparently i got it wrong and she was going to start picking people up at 10:30 and of course i live way across town. *sigh* now im tired. i woke up too early

Yesterday was my first mini show on checkers, and i was crying by the end of the first class(i was so embarassed). Chex was not liking the minishows. He was like fucking galloping, i thought i was going to fall off for sure. We stopped galloping like 5 minutes after the annoucer called to walk. It was majorly frightening and of course my dad has it all on tape so everyone can watch it over and over. FUN. Kara was ther coaching from the rail along with amy and jodi. amy got on him after the class was over and cantered him around in the practice ring a bunch then had me do it. and he wasnt bad at all. but as soon as we got back into the ring he was being awful again. i opted not to canter, so i was trotting when everyone was cantering, but he cantered off a couple times and i think he tried to kick another horse. the arabian thing. by the end of the night checkers was disgustingly sweaty and there was like steam coming off the top of him.

no way in hell am i doing the next mini show..maybe not even any of the other ones this year.

amy and kara said he flipped because hes used to being in just morgan classes where everyone knows what they're doing and not having crazy pyco ponies galloping around him. Also that he might not be used to being in night classes with the lights and all. And i've only had him for 5 days.. Amy's going to ride chex in a couple classes in the Marissa show on sunday. Hopefully he'll be ok because i have a couple classes after her. well, i do if her classes go ok. they probably will, because amy is amy, and then when i'll get on him he'll probably go crazy. ugh.

Today i went to the barn and rode him.first in the indoor and he was being alright. we had a pretty good trot going for a little bit. then i went outside and cantered and he was being a fucking bastard. he kept on turning in to log and breaking. so i went back to the indoor and cantered around a bunch of times. it was good because it was just me, annet, and mary in there. after i took him in and hosed him off i walked jack around a few times before remembering i have to pick out a blanket and a sheet for chexy. but my dad came before i had a chance to try anything on him.

argh, so i went home, was pretty bored the reast of the day..then went out to dinner with the family. my life sucks

hmm havent updated this in a while....

today, i went to the barn and i was going to get out checkers, but amy said i had to wait for him to go out in turnout so amy could see if he got along with the other horses in there..awww it was soo cute watching him trot around in there. Austin was like following him around everywhere, it was really sweet. then i brought chex in, tacked him up, and made deirdre come back out on jack(she had just gone in). So we went on a trail ride. Checkers was having an awesome time trotting up jacks but..he was either trotting or jogging the whole time i swear. Then went on the trails by myself and i was trotting along pretending to be cool and stuff. he took off cantering a couple times and refused to go over logs, but it was alright. after i went in and hosed him off because he was really sweaty, i ordered food(which tok forever to get here). then amy tells me i have to go back out because kara wants to see me canter chex before the mini show. i go out there and hes like dead tired after working all day so kara actually tells me to make him go faster :-o thats something i've NEVER heard before. she kept on telling me to spur him so i felt really bad. he did rebel though and bucked, but it wasnt anything to bad. so after that he was really, really tired so i put him to bed and left. i cant wait for the mini show tomorrow, my first time wtc with him..it should be interesting...

Right now im completely crying my eyes out, which really means something seeing as the last time i cryed was when nina took off for the first time in a show last year when jojo was coaching me. OH GOD i love nina so much. she is THE coolest pony ever. i love how shes so pretty and sweet and even how shes such a bitch to other horses. i love how she takes off every once and a while, i love how she jumps(even though she cant do it so much anymore) and she loves jumping. i love her gaits, shes the most comfortable horse ever and makes all other horses seem uncomfortable, which is going to take a while to get used to. i love nina and i'll miss her so much :-(

I dont even know how i got from this like total high down to crying this hard. i NEVER cry. But it was a good way to end our 2 year run, we won the class we did, she was being so good. i started crying when we walked out of the ring after we got the ribbon.

Checkers is coming tomorrow. i'll miss nina

On saturday, i went to the Company theater art festival day because my sister branwen was performing in it. it lasted from 9:00am to 3:00 pm. thats a LONG time to be sitting and watching people sing/dance/act. After that was over, i went to the barn and worked for an hour or something then went to amys house with deirdre, nicole, heather, and sarah. Everyone went in amy's pool(amy pushed me in >:-[) except for deirdre. we tried to push her in but only managed to push her into the kiddie pool. no fun. That night we didnt get to sleep until really late despite nicole's efforts to shut everyone up. The next day we had to get up at 4AM and be at the stable at 5. omg WAY TOO EARLY. we left for the South Shore show at 6 and had a very long day there. i went in 4 classes and only placed in the last one. i got 5th. yay for me. the classic was insane. there were 28 people in there and the judges decided it would be a good idea for everybody to canter at the same time. nina almost kicked a horse(she actually kicked a horse in the class before this one) and this western girl fell off her horse and onto the fence(breaking it) and ended up breaking her pelvis bone in 2 places. ouch. this could have possibly been my last SS on nina :-( I LOVE NINA

today was pretty good. i went to the barn to have a lesson but we didnt have one and amy said i could ride bob. so i rode Bobert and had an awesome time. i remembered from a long time ago that i didnt like riding him but i must have been on drugs or something because that horse is awesome. we jumped the log, the caveletti, the crossrail, the verticle, and the oxor. i hope my horse can jump ok. PLEASE let him be able to jump.

SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED..omg this is going to be such a long entry. but no one reads this fucker anyways so it doesnt really matter OK...

yesterday me, my mom, amy and kara went to chrislar farms to go look at possibly 3 different morgans. i saw 2 of the morgans on chrislar's site and i they were both really pretty and i liked them. So we get there and they the people there tack up this morgan named bobby who is for sale but wasnt on their site. the first thing i think is that he looks just like lucky and that hes really big(15.3). First the trainer rides him and he is SO GORGEOUS. he picks up his feet and is all in a frame and morgany. then i get on him, and he doesnt pick up his feet so much, he breaks a couple times but i love him anyways. he head when into a frame like automatically, not as much as when the trainer was riding him but still in a pretty good frame. When i was riding him he felt so much different than nina, he has a way different stride obviously because hes a whole 5 inches taller than nina. he also has a very thick neck(as amy informed me) which i guess is a really good thing? anyways, the next horse i rode was the mare that i liked that was on the site. she was ok for the trainer, not as pretty, not as much action as bobby. so when i get on her, shes totally wired. she broke into the canter a bunch of times so kara is just lke "i like the other one better" and so did i. then we all go to bertucci's(taking with us the purchase and sale agreement just in case i decided this was "the one"). And we were talking about him some over lunch. one of his hooves is turned out, so he doesnt have perfect comformation, which means i couldnt do in-hand if i wanted to win at all, but i dont care because im a shitty in-hand person anyways. so i get home and im really thinking that i want to buy this horse, but maybe try out at least one other horse too, just to make sure that im absolutely positive i want bobby. BUT amy calls and tell me that someone is coming to look at bobby the next morning, and there is a chance he could be sold on the spot, and that if i wanted to buy him, i'd have to put a deposite on im that night or then next morning. otherwise, they'd show him to the other people. WELL after much thought, and taking into account that there was really only one other horse that i wanted to go look at and what if he's crazy or something and the other people buy bobby? that would be awful.

...so we put the money down. and we're going to buy him :-D

Hes..so..awesome. But his name sucks ass and theres already a bob at the stable so im changing it. His show name is Minion's Checkmate(cool eh?) so amy suggested Checkers, so thats what im going to name him. Not to rule out the other wonderful name options such as Stewert(as in "look what i can do!"), Sexy Barry, or Dunkin the Scotish King. He can go huntseat and western and amy said he can probably do sadleseat too at the mini shows, just not at any of the bigger shows because he doesnt have enough action to really be competitive. but he used to show western, and he looks really pretty hunt seat so im mucho grande happy. But for south shore, if i change horses so i ride checkers instead of nina, none of my points will carry over in the pleasure classes(which i think is all of them). So that means no year end award, because in order to get one, i have to ride in at least 4 shows, and there are only like 3 left. but it doesnt really matter, because i wasnt going to get anything anyway.

im so happy..i've wanted a horse like forever and now im getting one. HEs getting vetted on tues so if he passes *crosses fingers* then we can trailor him bck on like thursday or something. slept over jill's last night then went to the mall with her this morning..good time. i bought a t-shirt from pac sun and the first atticus cd. but today, since emily isnt taking nina with me, my mom said i couldnt go up to chesire (a 3-day away horse show). :-( i wanted to go so bad..but its like $700 to go and not share a horse with someone, no counting getiing a hotel room and all that. i'm still gonna go up there but i wont be showing. ahh this SUCKS.

umm i did absolutely nothing yesterday. it was awesome.

on wednesday i did the mini show. nina had a LOT of people riding her in a bunch of classes so i thought she'd be tired and therefore didnt do any real work with her when rode her in the morning for like 5 seconds. then i rode peekaboo, the most awesome pony. i did these two crossrails, so fun. i kinda felt bad for her since im such a shitty rider but whatever she can take it. THEN at the mini show nina decided she wasnt tired. so she took off galloping (almost over the judge) in my first class. and in my second class she took off for a few steps at the canter and she was like hand galloping around even though between my two classes i went down to the indoor and cantered her around a bunch. haha i love my nina. suprisingly in the second class we got a 5th. i cant even imagine what the other people in my class looked like if i got a 5th.

so today i plan on doing nothing again. i love summer.

Yesterday the people who own Taffy's Bartender (the awesome paint mare who i love) sent me a video of her at some breeder's show in NY. So today brought it to the barn and both kara and amy (and everyone else for that matter) looked at it and thought she was cute. her head was a little low and her fake tail was falling out but she was cool other than that lol So now i really want to go look at her and try her out and stuff. But im not sure we have the $$ right now to go do all that so i'll have to ask (or beg) my mater. im so excited...

Ok, so this morning i really wanted to go to the barn to show amy and kara the video of the paint so i(stupidly) went to the barn at 9am. WOW i just hung around with the little girls doing absolutely nothing until about noon when lauren came and i chilled some with her. im gonna have a party tomorrow cleaning nina with 3 other people.

today, i woke up at 10:30 and everyone was like gone from the house except for my dad. i didnt even ask where they went. i went to the barn at like 12:30ish for a lesson at one, but we didnt have a leson cause they like werent enough horses or something like that. i rode melvin, who is so cool. i love that pony. we almost crashed twice, but twice isnt THAT bad ;-) actually with my riding today, i might have made bridget look like a normally bad rider hahaha

so i was looking over my lj and like every show that i had i made some comment like "nina was really tired" or "nina broke". and i was thinking, i have never been at a show where it was only me showing nina. i 've always shared her and shes always been really tired, except maybe last year because i was w/t and it doesnt take as much out of her. and for this mini show on wednesday, 4 people are going to ride her (maybe 5 if talia rides her in leadline but idk if shes going to). i wish i had my own horse so bad. so i could ride it in all the classes i could and not have to worry about it being too tired or someone else riding it.

South Shore today. it was possibly the worst SS i've had yet, which sucks. My first class, nina broke twice and she was like leaning to the inside majorly and i almost ran over the judge once :-o so i got nothing. and i got nothing my next class too but it went better. and my last class i got a 6th out of 7 people. go me. so it was pretty bad, but apparently the judge didnt like morgans so it wasnt entirely my fault. *sighs*

nina was like dead today. i really need my own horse, i feel bad for nina, being an old lady and having to do all these classes. well not really old, middle-aged, but getting there. poor muffin.

yesterday was the first mini show, it was mucho fun. I got 3rd in my class, and it was kind of frightening because one of the horses was seriously galloping around. good thing nina such a perfect pony and would NEVER do that sort of thing in the show ring ;-) but she really didnt tonight. shes always an angel during actual shows. deirdre and nicole both won their classes::good job guys:: jack's such a winner. I really want to try riding saddleseat. horses are just pretty when they're saddleseat. and the outfits are cooler. i want a morgan.

Last Day

Today was the last day of school, very sad since mimi and liz are leaving but very good because now its summer. yay. I was one of very few people who werent crying. the saddest part had to be in davenport's class because we've had him for 2 years now, and hes just cool.

1 MORE DAY UNTIL THE FIRST MINI SHOW!!!!

Yesterday was ok, it was the last full day of school. it was a REALLY long day. Then after school I went to hbr. I missed our lesson because i was still in school and no one else was so they had the lesson earlier. So when i show up to ride nina nicole smith is riding her and she tells me that shes warming nina up for jodi's lesson. WELL today's my lease day, so i go to jodi and tell her this and she still makes me wait until AFTER her lesson is done and nina is tired after having 2 people ride her her already until i get to ride her. that pissed me off. It would have pissed me off more if i had to sit around and do nothing for the entire lesson, but i only had to sit around for a little bit because the rest of the time, deirdre was giving me a pony ride on jack. haha good time. especially the lunging without the lungeline. fun. So when i rode nina she was tired and i feel kind of sick so i didnt really do anything.

Washington was so awesome. i loved it. In my room it was molly, mimi, and joanna. We brought SO MUCH FOOD. It completely filled up 3 drawers in the hotel room. As for the touring and stuff we went to all the major stuff (capitol building, Washington Monument, ect.) and in like 95 degree weather we walked completely arond the white house for NO REASON AT ALL. it looks the fucking same from the front as it does from the back. And that day, i didnt think we would we doing any major walking so i wore flip flops. And they are the most uncomfortable flip flops on earth. I have so many blisters on my feet and the next day my feet were killing me. And i got bloodstains on my socks from them (kinda gross).
Highlights:
--The first night in our hotel, most of the rooms got a porno channel. But of course OUR room didnt get it :-(
--Tom, our tour guide, was so cool and everyone kept chanting his name. aha fun
--I tired to get hot water for the hot chocolate mix that i brought with the coffee maker, but it went like CRAZY and attacked me. It was like spewing out boiling hot water in all directions.
--When we went to Arlington National Cemetery, there was this REALLY hott soldier there. mimi got a good pic but my camera couldnt zoom in that far :-(
--We had Petrell as our chaperone person. OMG i HATE her. (oh yes, oh yes, oh yes, oh yes ...)
--I was holding Jen's pizza for her in my bag overnight, then she ate it lol

just got back from molly's dad's party thing at the science center. good time. earlier today i went to church and then to a church pool party thing. not good time.

yesterday was the June show, which was wicked fun. I only placed in one of my 3 classes (5th) but i had a good time. nina was all tired, i felt bad for her because of all the classes she had to be in, with the tack changes and everything. poor muffin :-( bubbsy peed blood, which is awful becaause there might be something really wrong with him and there can't be anything wrong with bubbsy because hes the best horse ever.

the rest of today was ok, besides it being SO DAMN HOTT. omg i was like dying in school. I came in at like 11 because i thought we had the latin exam today and i wanted to study cause i didnt study yeaterday. so apparently the test wasnt today. oh well. i missed gym, im happy.

OMFMG i just got back from the blink and no doubt concert. IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME. gwen stefani is my idol, she was wearing like greenish cargo pants with a white top. Mark was wearing a light blue tshirt which looked really cute with his pink bass. and tom was wearing a black shirt, with a black guitar. both permofmances were SO GOOD. but i almost liked it when they were talking better. im just going to list random quotes from today down now, just for myself because im cool like that.
